Twas the night before (the night before) Christmas

Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
Tis the season for presents, family, and classic movies.


Ryan's been wearing that shirt around all month. And we've also been watching this movie all month. We finally caught the two together this morning.

Also, remember how I married into the most creative family in the world? They're teaching me to get in touch with my own little creative side. Look what we made last night while the boys watched the Las Vegas Bowl:

Yes, those names are hand-stitched. Look closely — Ryan's name is there too.

Woot woot! Love it! Especially the matching stockings (and the matching TV scree/shirt combo). As for me, I sewed AND watched the game at the same time. I knew you two were some of my favorite people EVER! (My grandma was kind enough to help me sew a two-layer fleece blanket and some rice bags. Big step for little Jared, but hey. Maybe one day I'll advance onto stockings--and hand stitching, too. Or maybe I'll just stick to rice bags and watching football games.)

I love the picture of Ryan in front of the tv and I also LOVE the stockings. Look at you becoming full on domesticated. They look so cute... can't wait to see the whole series in a few years. :)
