First Week

I'm just about the newest person in the Church Office Building. This week I got up before the sun every day. Drove in Salt Lake traffic four days straight. Talked to my mom and sister a lot as a result. Met my supervisor. Sort of loved wearing a dress every day. Didn't hate the nylons. Got to know the other interns. Told them the story about how I met Ryan. Remembered how much I love that boy.

Brainstormed story ideas. Got some assignments. Requested to write profiles on South Africa and the Rexburg Temple. Learned how the Seventy works. Met a member of the Seventy. Ate lunch in the Church Office Building cafeteria. Tried to guess how much my frozen yogurt weighed so I could get it for free. Guessed wrong.

Went to the Church Administration building. Walked around a lot of offices. Didn't see anyone I recognized. Used the tunnels under Temple Square. They're real. Bought a bus pass. Met another member of the Seventy. Wrote some articles. Took a tour of the Church Printing facility. Got paid for it.

Rode the elevator with two members of the General Young Women presidency. Learned about a cool new Web site. Wrote about it. Learned about a cool video broadcast. Wrote about it.

Called as Nursery Leader. Ryan called as Nursery worker. Came home. Wrote about it.
