Hello, old friend.

I have a handsome husband.

I realized something yesterday. I woke up in a tent, and it was hot. I could hear children laughing outside and I could smell campfires.

It reminded me of something I'd forgotten about. Something wonderful that I'd not realized was missing. Something that I'm pretty sure has been happening most of the time I've been in an air-conditioned office cubicle.

Summer.

We headed for Manti just about the second I got home from work (Ryan is awesome and got everything all packed and ready) to see the pageant and "camp." We didn't build a campfire or hike or anything, and we had indoor plumbing at the campsite.

That's my kind of camping.

Since we were in the neighborhood, we HAD to go to the temple. Fact: The Manti Temple was completed before the Salt Lake Temple. Fact: There used to be a tunnel that let you to drive straight through it. Fact: It's really, really beautiful.

Welcome back, summer. I've missed you.
