Happy Boothday

Ryan is 24. He is great. He was also born on Halloween, which means we get a double excuse to party Halloween weekend. I know, jackpot, right?

(Taken 14 years ago on Ryan's 10th birthday. The cheesecake I made was almost this cute. Almost.)

We went on no fewer than six dates this weekend, which I highly recommend. However, when Ryan's actual birthday finally rolled around today, he was all about the naps, chicken noodle soup and saltine crackers. A man's birthday is no time for the flu bug to come around. *sigh

To my dismay, there's not a picture of the whole weekend on my camera. Guess we just got caught up in experiencing it, right? Just imagine: EFY counselor costumes, a ward Halloween party, games with friends, dinner with Ryan's parents (who came down to visit us this weekend!), a primary program, a BYU basketball game, Krispy Kreme donuts, lots of presents, 32 Facebook wall posts (give or take), one cheesecake, Indiana Jones, Top Gun, The Karate Kid, Chronicles of Narnia, and NO HOMEWORK.

That's a happy birthday indeed.
